Absolute Grinding currently encorporates the use of four Studer CNC Grinders. Studer machines are some of the finest in the industry. The machines hold tolerances as low as .000050". The conversational programming makes set-up times quick, which translates into savings for our customers. In 1994 Absolute purchased their first CNC machine, the Studer S35.In 1998 Absolute obtained a Studer S36 which added the ability to grind complex wheel forms. In 2001, they acquired a Studer S31 . The S31, with it's infinite 'B'axis makes it possible to grind both I.D and O.D. in a one-chuck operation.Absolute Purchases a 4th Studer Grinder
In Early 2007 Absolute Grinding purchased a second S35. As with all cnc machines knowledge is key. Purchasing a used machine with little knowledge could have been disasterous for some, but with a background in Studer machines already, Absolute was able to bring an S35 back from the "brink". The newest machine has been renovated and runs as if it were new. The additional machine adds to the productivity and a quicker turn-around time at Absolute. |
